Our modern, well equipped venues range from a small 8 seater boardroom to a 300 seater theater. Tranquil and attractive surroundings ensure that delegates can relax and concentrate on the proceedings without interruption.

In addition our large gardens and manicured lawns are ideal for that special event such as a year-end company lunch or corporate family day.

The Wild Goose restaurant and bar caters for your needs from small intimate business meetings to large gala functions with a range of meal options ranging from an a-la-carte menu to buffets, cocktail and finger food, Braais and Themed menus.

 

Our History

About Blandford Manor

 

Blandford Manor is a beautiful Old English estate and Manor House established along the banks of the Olienhoutpoort river in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

The large 10 acre gardens are internationally registered at Kew in the United Kingdom (Botanical Gardens Conservation International) as Botanical gardens. As such, the Blandford Manor gardens are one of only 14 registered botanical gardens in South Africa and only slightly more than 700 registered gardens in 118 countries around the world.

Conveniently situated on the doorstep of both Randburg and Sandton, and within striking distance of Lanseria airport, Blandford Manor offers you a peaceful and beautiful country setting with modern amenities and top class facilities.

Our beautiful gardens and large manicured lawns provide the perfect setting for large and small groups to host almost any function, be it:

Should you prefer an indoor function then the Wild Goose restaurant and large Silver Birch function hall can be hired

Catering can be provided for any occasion be it a simple relaxed gathering with an a-la-carte menu to a large group looking for a buffet meal. Business people can meet clients here for breakfast or lunch or we can arrange a High Tea, formal Banquet or Cocktail party.

Hours of operation:

The Wild Goose restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 08h30 to 18h00 and Sunday from 08h30 to 17h30 – we stay open in the evening until 24h00 by prior arrangement.

Note: We DO NOT allow children under the age of 15 years unless the entire venue is booked exclusively for a function – please note this also includes babies and toddlers.
